1. CONTEST PERIOD

The contest begins on April 11th, 2025 at 10AM (AST) and ends on May 2nd, 2025 at 12AM (AST).

 

Entries submitted outside this period will not be considered.

 

2. ELIGIBILITY

The contest is open to residents of Canada, aged 18 or older.

Employees, board members, and representatives of the Shediac Lobster Festival, as well as their immediate family members, are not eligible to participate. Furthermore, any person directly or indirectly associated with the Shediac Lobster Festival, including, but not limited to, contractors, volunteers, partners, suppliers, as well as the immediate and extended family members of all these individuals, is prohibited from participating and cannot be declared a winner of the contest.

3. HOW TO ENTER

To enter the contest, participants must:

1.  Send us a picture or a 20-second video accompanied by a testimonial showing us your favorite Shediac Lobster Festival memory;

2. Or for first timers, a video describing what you are most looking forward to experiencing for the first time at The Shediac Lobster Festival. 

 

Entries must comply with the contest rules; failure to do so may result in disqualification.

4. PRIZES

• 4 tickets for the Akadi Lumina night walk (Friday, July 11, 2025) 

• 4 Campbells bracelets 

• 4 entry tickets for the Shediac Lobster Festival 

• 1 $50 voucher for La Trappe restaurant 

• 4 hoodies from the Shediac Lobster Festival

The prize dates are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

 

5. WINNER SELECTION & ANNOUNCEMENT

• Winner will be chosen by a panel of judges, an initial screening of entries will be done by The Shediac Lobster Festival Team. The top 10 videos will be sent to a panel of judges. Scoring will be based on originality and creativity. 

• Winner will be announced on The Shediac Lobster Festival Facebook and Instagram page on May 8th 2025.

• Winners must respond to our email within 5 business days to claim their prize, or another winner may be selected.

 

6. GENERAL CONDITIONS

• Only one (1) person will win the prize;

• The prize will be awarded to the person indicated on the contest entry form;

• By participating in the contest, the participant agrees to comply with the contest rules and authorizes the Shediac Lobster Festival to use their name and submitted video, as well as all individuals included in the video, for promotional purposes on the Shediac Lobster Festival social media and website without any additional compensation;

• The Shediac Lobster Festival is not responsible for lost, late, or misdirected entries due to technical issues;

• This contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Facebook, Instagram, or any other platform.
